BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Rudolph Valentino Snead, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, June 24, from a long illness. He was 64.
Snead was born on Jan. 5, 1951, to Rosby Snead and Stella Smith. He attended Bridgeport Public Schools and worked at various odd jobs.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Marvin Mendenhall, and a son, Rudolph Jr.
Snead is survived by three daughters, Lucinda Underwood, Kendra Snead and Shamora Scales; four siblings, Jerry Snead, of Cocoa, Fla., Butch Mendenhall, of Florida, Renee Mendenhall, of Florida, and Cheryl Mendenhall, of Stratford; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Underwood; a grandson, Aaron Garvin Jr.; a granddaughter, Shanice Snead; other grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 1, from 10-11 a.m. at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Ave., Bridgeport, with services to follow.
Interment will be at the family's convenience.
